The Combined Watch and Clock Repair Program combines the Clockmaker Program and the Watch Repair & Restoration Program into one program with 23 courses. Each clock hour is 50 minutes long. This program is recommended for those who would like to one day open their own repair business. The blending of both programs gives the student a well-rounded education in the science of horology. Graduates of the combined program are fully equipped with knowledge and skills in the art and science of watch and clock making and repair and can expect to attain at least an entry level position in these fields. They will be able to repair and rebuild, overhaul and refurbish vintage timepieces as well as the newer, more modern ones.

The Combined Watch and Clock Repair Program consists of 23 courses: the 11 Watch Repair & Restoration Program courses and the 12 Clockmaker Program courses. The normal length of time to complete the Combined Watch and Clock Repair Program is 3,040 hours or 104 weeks. The courses run concurrently during the year so that a student interested in taking the Combined Watch and Clock Repair Program would take one program the first year and the other program the second year. Either program may be taken first.

Clockmaker Program

This 12 month program is made up of 12 courses.
There are 9 one week breaks during the program.

C-300: Basic Clock Repairs
C-400: Introduction to Clock Escapement
C-500: Cuckoo and Torsion Pendulum Clocks
C-600: Chiming Movement Clocks
C-700: Tall Clocks
C-800: Platform and Lever Escapement Clocks
C-900: Wooden Movement Clocks
C-1000: Machine Tools and Construction
C-1100: Miscellaneous Clock Movements
C-1200: Advanced Clock Repair

Watch Repair & Restoration Program

This 12 month program is made up of 11 courses.
There are 9 one week breaks during the program.

W-200: Introduction to Watch Repair

W-400: Staffing and Jeweling
W-500 Swiss Lever Escapement
W-600: Hairsprings
W-700: Wristwatches
W-800: Watch Technician
