Watchmakers in High Demand!
Watches are in high demand today. Movie stars, CEOs and members of the common populace sport technical designer pieces. But there is a shortage of watchmakers to keep those timepieces operating. The average salary for a watchmaker is currently $42,500 with the possibility of much higher earnings for those with higher skills and ambition.
Now is a good time to consider attending the NAWCC School of Horology to acquire the skills that can secure you a lifelong profession with a healthy income.
In 1995, the Association officially opened the NAWCC School of Horology which is designed to continue the tradition of watch and clock repair. Adjacent to the Headquarters complex, the School offers a Clock Repair Program and a Watch Repair Program. Students are taught on the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. The School is licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Licensed Schools.
